With stagnant play at the jam line, NY seemed to slice through Philly's rear wall repeatedly during the Liberty Belles/Gotham Girls Roller Derby All-Stars bout Sunday evening in Feasterville, PA. Repeatedly, Belles would have their jammer stuck in the back of the pack alone while Gotham 'sjammer would pass through unnoticed, scoring point after point. Repeatedly, both teams fought for the back, and it was not until the 18 minute mark that Philly finally put 1 point on the board as Mercedes Bendz beat out Suzy Hotrod for a single gain. But later, B. Zerk further increased Gotham's lead to 90-12 as Belles started making trips to the box. Reverting back to the slow, off-the-line pack, Suzy got through for lead while Elle Viento was stuck in the pack, ending the first half at 136-12.

Gotham nabbed 50 more points immediately in the 2nd half, and the first glimpse of hope for Philly was Persephone’s 3-0 jam at the 20 minute mark. Until that jam, the Belles had not scored since 8:22 in the first half. The Belles continued to have difficulty getting lead jammer status, and only manage to score 4 more points in the remainder of the bout. Gotham controlled the pace, stayed out of of the box, and dominated the scoring for the entire bout, leaving the host league Philly Roller Girls 0-2 for the weekend.
Final score: 267 Gotham, 34 Philly.
