The Liberty Belles' first-ever trip to Maine was a resounding success as the Belles posted a solid 161-17 win against this up-and-coming team from the Northeast. The Belles had hoped to used this opportunity to prepare for their bouts against Kansas City and Rat City (Seattle) at the East Coast Derby Extravaganza, and they appear to have come out of the weekend firing on all cylinders. The team's win streak now stands at 5 bouts, during which the Belles have outscored their opponents by 264 points. |

The Independence Dolls took PRG action across national borders for the first time in league history on the weekend of 5/9 with a big road trip to Montreal Roller Derby, where the New Skids On The Block represent Canada's first WFTDA member league. Unfortunately, the Dolls fell short on the scoreboard with a final score of 94 to Montreal's 129. |
